We will once again be offering our fencing winter school sport class in terms 2 and 3 of 2026.
This is aimed primarily at homeschool students, but all school students are welcome if they are able to make this time slot. You can talk to your school PE teacher about including Fencing as a school sport at your school.
Sign up for an 8 week introduction to the sport of fencing, starting May 1st, or the full 12 week school sport experience.
This class is suitable for complete beginners, primarily aimed at high school aged students but mature grade 5/6 can also attend.
All equipment is provided, or we can assist participants to buy their own inexpensive equipment if they prefer.
Each class runs from 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Friday afternoons in the Nunawading Community Hub. There are drinking fountains and change rooms on site, a cafe and plenty of parking accessed via Esdale Street.
Participants also have the option to compete in the Winter Schools League fencing events.
Registrations open in March.
Full list of dates: May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, June 12, 19, 26, July 17, 24, 31, Aug 7th.
No fencing on the King’s Birthday Long Weekend or during school holidays.
