Our Hills venue is in the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne’s east.
We run an open class and training session from 6pm to 8pm during school terms.
There are drills and a group warm-up at the start of each session, followed by bouting practice and individual lessons with the coaches.
Beginners are welcome at any time and the open session is suitable for all ages 10+.
It is possible to sign up for the Olinda class on its own if you are not planning to fence at our other locations, contact the club treasurer for current rates.
Equipment is available for use, but electric kit is limited. Fencers are encouraged to buy their own epee and bodywire as soon as practicable. Foil equipment is available for younger fencers.
Visitors are also welcome; there is a $15 visitor fee. All visitors must be affiliated with their state or national fencing association.
Coaching
Coaching is provided by Chris Betts and Brennan Lockett, Level 1 Epee coaches.
Individual lessons are available on request at standard rates.
