Saturday 9am-3pm.

Nunawading Community Hub

We start with some warm-up and drills, followed by a short masterclass on sabre refereeing for the sabreurs.
Epeeists will be training with Nick Mihailescu, while the sabreurs move onto the pistes for lots of fencing.
Get to know everyone better over the provided lunch, then take a seat while we talk about analysing your performance in the pools and how to use that to improve your fencing.

Speaking of pools, it’s not part of the camp, but Aqualink Nunawading is 5 mins down Springvale Road.  If you need some aquatic therapy after a hard day of fencing, adults can swim for under $8, kids under $6.
Spa, Sauna and Steam is available for ages 16+ for an extra $5.

Sunday 10am-3pm.

Nunawading Community Hub

We’ll start the day with a discussion over your beverage of choice, on planning your training.
Then we split both sabreurs and epeeists into 2 groups, one working with a qualified fitness trainer on their physical conditioning, the other doing technical training with coaches.
Bring a cut lunch, it’s a busy day.
We finish the day a general Q&A session.

Monday 7pm-9pm.

St John’s Primary School, Mitcham

Time to put the weekend training into practice.  Back on the pistes, we’ll be creating some interesting scenarios for you to try and fence.
